Prtytime

Terms of Service

Last updated October 20, 2026

Prtytime is a personal, non-commercial project, not a business. It's made for its creator's own use and for the people they invite. It's free, and nothing is sold or advertised. “We” and “us” mean the person who runs Prtytime. These Terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating a host account, or by sending an RSVP, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Prtytime.

Not affiliated with anyone else

Prtytime isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any company, product or service with a similar name. It isn't meant to compete with, or be confused with, any existing business or service. If you think it conflicts with your name or brand, email support@prtytime.com and we'll work it out with you.

Who can use it

Your account

Give a real email address you control and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@prtytime.com if you think someone else is using it.

What you post

Don't

Parties happen offline

Prtytime only shares invites and RSVPs. We don't organise, check or attend any party, and we don't vet hosts or guests. Hosts and guests are responsible for their own parties, including safety, food and drink, alcohol, and who they invite. Allergy notes are informal messages between guests. They aren't medical or safety information, and they may be missing or wrong. Always check directly with the people involved.

Removing things

We may remove any content, or suspend or close any account, at any time, with or without notice, including when we think these Terms were broken. You can delete a party, an RSVP or your whole account at any time.

A free service

Prtytime is free and run as a personal project. We may change, pause or stop it at any time. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or that your data will never be lost, so keep your own note of anything important.

No warranties

Prtytime is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, or for anything that happens at or because of a party, even if we were told it could happen. Our total liability for any claim about Prtytime is limited to the greater of US$50 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

If someone makes a claim against us

You agree to defend and reimburse us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from what you post, a party you host or attend through Prtytime, or your breaking these Terms or the law.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Prtytime infringes your copyright, email support@prtytime.com with the link, the work you own, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorised. We'll remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about Prtytime or these Terms will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, or it's permanently barred.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell hosts by email or on the site. Using Prtytime after a change means you accept the new Terms.

The fine print

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Prtytime. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something isn't a waiver. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours, for example to someone who takes over running Prtytime.
